Well the cosmic prankster continues to shine down all his irony on me. Our mortgage interest rate locked in yesterday (90 days before closing), which was 2 days after the Bank of Canada raised its rate from 2.25% to 2.5%, and 1 day after all the major banks raised their base rates from 4.25% to 4.5% to be effective yesterday (follow all that?). It's not that I'm complaining, as our rates are still ridiculously low, it's just, that it seemed fated to boink us in the behind.
Either way, we're still extremely pumped to get the move over and done with (only 2.5 months left!
So I've had a Gmail account for the last few months, when the mother corp (Google) decides to give me 6 invites to ask others that I know to sign up. No sooner am I rid of them, I get 6 more - which are almost all gone. I point this out because even though I'm not compelled to invite others, I keep doing it - it's addictive, it's contagious. it's trendy.
First person to email me a request for one with the Subject "Gooosefraba" wins an invite.
