Here's an amazing montage - yes montage - of my cousin Brad Martin kicking ass and taking no prisoners.
Way to go Brad.
I suppose this means it's official ;)
Here's a nice shot of my new niece, Julia, taken shortly after her birth at 8:51 pm (thanks Kait). Apart from a little bit of fluid on the lungs (which the oxygen tubes took care of) she's doing fine, as is Mom Steph. Talk about a great Mother's Day present, eh? More photos to be found in the gallery.
Flew back in last Monday after performing the Master of Ceremonies duties at my (soon to be) brother-in-law's wedding. Ceremony was outside on a gorgeous day at CFB Wainwright, Alberta. MCing went off with only 2.4 hitches, which is well within the 7-hitch limit that defines a successful reception.
After the ceremony was over, Kristin and I were waiting in the car (a very classy '87 Mazda 323), when Penny's Dad, Major Murray MacLure (Army, Ret.) was making his way down to the Officer's Mess.
This shot really stuck out for me - he walked down the aisle with his daughter, but away from the ceremony alone.
